My Story

Success means doing the best we can with what we have. Success is the doing, not the getting; in the trying, not the triumph. Success is a personal standard, reaching for the highest that is in us, becoming all that we can be.

--Zig Ziglar

My name is Johnathan Michael Villalobos. I'm 30 years old, active duty / E-5 / EM2 in the USNavy, father to two beautiful girls and husband to a gorgeous wife.

PAST

My awareness of who am and what I intend to accomplish started when I joined the Navy on 14APR2009. Prior to joining this service, I was employed with the state departments of Park and Recreation of San Diego, CA, and then Corrections of Donavon State Prison in San Diego, CA. I've always desired the work pace, standards, and responsibilities required with large organizations. My diverse background and experiences has me reaching for the highest that is in me. I've spent the last Naval Sea Duty rotation onboard the USS NIMITZ CVN68 (2009-2014).

                                         Accomplishments

Air Speed Green Belt, Lean Six Sigma from Villanova University, Motor Cart Invention submission into the MILCAPS program.

CURRENT STATE

I'm currently on my Shore Duty rotation, stationed at the Naval Consolidated Brig MiraMar as a Correctional Officer. I'm currently taking classes with National University to finish my BS COMPUTER SCIENCE degree.

                                         Accomplishments

During my first month, I received my cash pay-out Award for my MILCAPS invention.

FUTURE GOAL.

By 2017, I intend to have my BS COMPUTER SCIENCE degree completed with National University, and establish my career goal with entering into the naval OCS program or career transferring out of the NAVY. I look forward to internships and job opportunities.

Thank you for your time,

Villalobos, Johnathan
